Kamea Hadar grew up in both the worlds of his Japanese mother and Israeli father. He began studying drawing and painting from a young age. As a child he took classes at the Honolulu Art Academy and later learned under the guidance of artists like Kate Witcomb, David Lafell, and Anne Namba. He has also studied at institutions such as the Sorbonne in Paris, the University of St. Louis in Madrid, and the Tel Aviv University.
